ONGOING PROJECTS
Our C4C team is creating a global platform, in its initial stage, that seeks to unite world-class college students to address urgent health and social issues by scaling up solutions for maximum impact with minimum resources. We aim to bridge the gap between real-world problems mapped by NGOs and the case-solving competition format by giving college students the opportunity to apply their strategy and gain insight into real-time data. We are in the process of starting our pilot project in Israel.
Global Pulse is dedicated to increasing awareness and training for Basic Life Support (BLS) through resources like CPR machines accompanied by a compelling CPR video. This video will be featured at a major music event in France and during Shocktober, aiming to educate and inspire global audiences about the importance of first aid.
By implementing psychological prevention and support services in clinics and hospitals, our project will improve the life of patients, their families and the medical staff treating them. Studies have shown that patients with good support for their mental health have better and faster recovery rates. This has a flow on effect to families as they will gain a better understanding of the challenges their loved one’s face, enabling them to offer the necessary support during their medical journey. Our Derech Hadassah team are in the initial planning phase of creating the pilot program.
Planning for a family starts before the conscious choice to conceive. The Genetics & Fertility team at HMO are creating steps to spread awareness about fertility and expand the Genetics Program started in Mexico to the rest of the World. This will help young couples make informed decisions about their reproductive health and prevent the passing of diseases to their children. Our current focus is on supporting the Genetics Program launch in Panama, a conference in Australia and creating an online information hub to support young couples around the world.
Words For Hope aims to empower parents by providing them with expert-guided psychology resources to help their children navigate complex situations and information regarding global events, like the War in Israel. Developed in partnership with the Hadassah hospitals Psychologists, these resources are designed to foster open and supportive conversations between parents and their children, ensuring they feel secure and informed.
Humans of Hadassah seeks to showcase the diverse and compelling stories of the staff at the Hadassah hospitals, offering a fresh perspective on Israel through the lens of international photographers. This initiative will highlight the unique contributions of individuals working at the Hadassah hospitals and present a humanitarian image of Israel during the Swords of Iron War.
Green ORs is an ambitious project focused on making Operating Rooms (ORs) at the Hadassah hospitals more sustainable. By implementing waste reduction strategies and eco-friendly practices inspired by successful models in the Netherlands and Toronto, this project aims to significantly improve the environmental footprint of the Hadassah hospitals.
